Melissa Mason

As Director of Community Relations at Bridges Center, Melissa Mason leads strategic partnerships and community engagement efforts that advance the mission of Bridges and strengthen its impact across the region. Grounded in the Apostle Paul’s example of faithful stewardship and adaptive leadership, she approaches community relations as both calling and responsibility building trust, alignment, and long-term collaboration rooted in Christ-centered service.   “Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14  

Born and raised in East Texas, Melissa brings a deep appreciation for community, resilience, and service. Over the past year, she served in a Safety role on the pipeline for ExxonMobil/Genesis Endeavors, where she demonstrated leadership under pressure, adaptability, and the ability to overcome significant challenges. This experience further strengthened her capacity to lead with wisdom, perseverance, and care for people in complex environments.

Melissa is married to the love of her life, David Mason, and together they have shared 27 years together. She is a devoted mother to four beautiful children: son Calvin Mason, and daughters Skylar Mason, Starla Mason, and Chloe Mason. Actively following Christ in all that she does, Melissa believes life itself is a blessing and is wholeheartedly committed to spreading and reflecting His love to everyone she encounters living out her calling to be the light.  “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”  Matthew 5:16
